Crazy Weekend!!!

Well this weekend was really fun...until the last ten minutes it town.   We went to Ogden for the college rodeo.  We got to stay with Thad and Lindsey.  It was so much fun, and they have such a CUTE house!!!!  Mckay ended up 7th the first round in the team roping...not bad since they broke the barrier.  But on Saturday when we were driving home the craziest thing happened.  Someone shot our window out as we were driving down Riverdale Road in Ogden.  No joke,  it came through the window about three inches from Mckay's head.  We haven't found the bullet yet, but it was insane!!!  The cop said there wasn't much they could do, since we didn't see who did it so we just had to break the window out and drive home with no window.  It really freaked me out, in fact I think I am still in shock!!! OH YA, and just as we pulled over to check out the damages, sure enough some guy comes up and asks us for money,  sorry not good timing---just got shot!  All I can say is we are counting our blessings, because two more inches could have changed our whole lives.  We are so blessed!!!   But I don't EVER want to go to Ogden again! 

this was our attempt to put plastic in the window to get home, ya it didn't work, but I am so thankful we have windows normally, because my ears were thumping by the time we got home.  Mcklain took it well though, he didn't wake up through any of it!!!  He slept for like two and a half hours!
